Columbia River Sun-January 25, 1912 FITZPATRICK, Sarah Found in Newport, Ore., Monterey Hotel, a bullet piercing her heart. Her father, late John Fitzpatrick, having at one time owned the seining ground on Tenas Illahee Island, opposite Skamokawa, which bears his name. The family resided on a ranch in upper West Valley. Many relatives still live in this area: J. G. Elliott, L. A. Ducheny and Grant Preble of Altoona. Two brothers, John and Walter Fitzpatrick, also live near Altoona. She was related to Chief Concomly of Clatsop and Sir. Roche Du Cheney, an officer of Dr. John McLoughlin's staff at Vancouver. Besides her mother, other relatives are Mrs. J. W. Oberander of Portland; Misses Norah and Rebecca Fitzpatrick and Mrs. A. Wood of Newport and Mrs. Charles Eastland of Garibaldi, Ore.
