Wahkiakum County Eagle-January 1996 Ferguson, Judith D. ‘Judy’ Former Wahkiakum County resident Judith ‘Judy’ D. Ferguson, 52, died January 7 at her home in Oregon City, Ore. She was born September 22, 1943 in Astoria, to Arthur and Estella Goodell, and grew up in the Pillar Rock area. She attended grade school at Dahlia and Rosburg, and attended high school in Naselle. She had also lived in Grays River and Neah Bay before moving to the Portland area several years ago. She enjoyed hunting and camping. Survivors include her husband, Gene, at home; a daughter, Debby Burkholter of Portland; three sons, Leonard Stubbs, Tom Stubbs and Rick Nelson, all of Portland; five brothers, Arthur Goodell and August Goodell, both of Kelso, Melvin Goodell of Astoria, Kenneth Goodell of Aberdeen, and Donald Goodell of Milwaukie, Ore.; a sister, Nancy Fluhrer of Warrenton, Ore.; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service was held Monday at Ocean View Cemetery.
