Wahkiakum Eagle-February 1997 FEAZLE, Linda Caroline Age 106, died at Forest Grove, Ore. She was born at Grays River, the daughter of H. P. and Margret Olson Ahlberg. She was raised on a dairy farm in Grays River and attended the Grays River schools. Her father organized the Grays River Grange and served as its first master. On April 10, 1909, she married Samuel M. Feazle, a timberman. The Feazles lived at several locations in Washington and Oregon as Mr. Feazle followed the timber industry. In 1939 they settled in Banks, Ore. Mrs. Feazle was a homemaker, a dedicated help-mate and mother. Her special interests included vegetable and flower gardens and she continued to work in her gardens until age 90. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel, on November 5, 1965, after the couple had celebrated 56 years of marriage. In 1981 she sold her home and moved to Senko Villa in Forest Grove and to the Forest View Care Center in 1984. Survivors include her son, E. Ray Feazle of Portland; two daughters and son-in-law, Helen M. and Paul Feranan of Portland and Verna F. Rosenberg of Tillamook; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 6 great- great- grandchildren. Services were held February 24 at the Forest Grove Memorial Chapel. Private graveside services and interment were held February 25 at the Grays River Cemetery.
