Wahkiakum County Newspaper-March 1937 Skamokawa Resident Is Called By Death Another old pioneer has gone, with the passing of Charles Faulk. He lived here since 1887. Mr. Faulk was born in Wirserum Smoland Sweden, May 6, 1875, he died February 21st at his home in the east valley, of heart trouble, his sickness dates back several years. He was married to Dora Gradman, July 7th 1909 in Portland, Oregon. He leaves to mourn his death: His widow, Dora, one aunt, Mrs. Sophia Olson, four cousins, Charles Olson and Charles Carlson of Skamokawa, Mrs. Singe Hulltni and Mrs. Annie Solby of Wisconsin, and a host of friends. Services were held in the Island Community church February 24th., with Rev. W. B. Lamb officiating. Pallbearers were: Theo. Anderson, Charles Strom, Albert Anderson, Howard Wiester, Albert Martin and John Benson. Interment was made at Skamokawa.
