Wahkiakum Eagle-January 1977 FAUBION, Alma M. Age 92, an early pioneer of the Cathlamet area, where she lived her entire life, died in a Cathlamet nursing home. She was born to Thomas and Elizabeth Kent at their home in the Elochoman Valley. Her parents had moved there in 1865. In 1907, she was married to Herbert H. Faubion, who preceded her in death. She had been a member of the Riverview Rebekah Lodge for 56 years, and in 1924 was noble grand. Survivors include a son, Herbert Faubion of Lacey; a daughter, Mrs. Art (Effie) Wright of Cathlamet; six grandchildren, Mrs. George (Pamela) Bigelow and Joseph Faubion, both of Lacey; Thomas Faubion of Tacoma, William Faubion of Cathlamet, Robert Wright of Olympia and Walter Wright of Cathlamet; seven great-grandchildren, Daniel and Steven Bigelow of Lacey, John, Stephanie and Thomas Wright, all of Olympia, and twins, Jeffrey and Kristine Faubion of Lacey. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Dowling Funeral Chapel with Rev. Everett Groves officiating. Dowling Funeral Home was in charge. Alma M.
