EVERAERT, Chester F.
	
  Age 83, of Skamokawa, died at home.  He was born in Oconto, Wis., and 
came to Skamokawa in 1947 from Scappoose, Ore.  he worked in the 
logging industry all his life, retiring from Crown Zellerbach.
  He was a member of the Skamokawa Grange.
  He visited the Columbia View Nursing Home in Cathlamet, every 
afternoon to see his longtime friend, Mary Faymonville.  In addition to 
her, he is survived by a daughter, Sally J. Darrow of Cypress, Calif.; 
three grandsons; and three great-granddaughters.
  His wife, Evelyn Everaert, died in 1943.  Three brothers also
preceded him in death.
  Services were held Thursday at the United Methodist Church in 
Skamokawa with Rev. Joan Ham officiating.  Dowling Funeral Home was in 
charge.
