Wahkiakum Eagle-August 1997 EMRA, Ada Lenore Age 85, died in a Cathlamet nursing home. She was born in Dufer, Ore., to Arthur L. and Ada E. (Reichlein) Davis. She lived in Medford, Ore., for many years and later moved to Portland, where she lived for some time before moving to the Cathlamet area 10 years ago. She was a nurse's aide and had worked for a number of years in nursing homes. She was on election boards in Medford and Portland. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, playing piano and growing flowers. She was a member of the Church of God in Portland. Preceding her in death were her first husband, Raymond Vinson; her second husband, Bud Emra; and a daughter, Della Davis in 1988. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Muller of Ryderwood, and Naomi Vinson of Portland; two sons, Arthur Vinson and Donald Vinson, both of Longview; two sisters, Donna Holtzcamp of Milwaukie, Ore., and Evelyn Dawdy of Bodfish, Calif.; a brother, Arthur Davis, city unavailable; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service was held Monday at Dowling Funeral Chapel in Cathlamet.
