The Daily News-Aug 1964 ELLISON, Norman Arthur Age 22, of Longview, died at Kodiak, Alaska. He was born at Astoria, Ore. He had moved to Longview in 1962 from the U. S. Navy. He had been employed by the Weyerhaeuser Co. in Longview and as a fisherman. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Puget Island. He lived on Puget Island as a youngster and attended Cathlamet schools. Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Longview; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Erling Ellison of Puget Island; sister, Elinor Monroe of Portland; stepbrother, Elmer Ellison of Seattle; parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Billie Rich of Longview, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Friday at the First Lutheran Church on Puget Island with Revs. John G. Turner and Al Kelps officiating. Steele Funeral Home was in charge.
