Wahkiakum Eagle-May 1984 ELLIOTT, Ralph G. Lifelong resident of the Rosburg area, died at home. He was born in Dahlia, Wash. He worked for more than 50 years as a commercial fisherman in the Columbia River and Alaska, and also had been employed by the Western Wahkiakum Telephone Co. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Naselle. On July 08, 1945 in West New York, N. J., he married Margaret Waters. She survives him at home in Rosburg. Other survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Elliott of Longview and Carol Elliott of Oregon City, Ore.; four sons, Ralph Elliott, Jr. of Astoria, and Kenneth J. Elliott, James Elliott and Dean Elliott, all of Elliotts Point, Wa.; two sisters, Anna Koontz of Taholah, Wa., and Frances Sohol of Seattle; and 14 grandchildren. Services were Wednesday in Astoria.
