Unknown newspaper-March 1987 Forest G. "Curly" Edmonson Retired Cathlamet logger, age 80, died in a Seattle hospital. He was born at Orofino, Idaho, and lived in the Cathlamet area 48 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and served in the Washington National Guard. He is survived by two daughters, Thelma Hutchison of Seattle and Helen Dugas of Tonasket, Wash.; a sister, Agnes Johanson of Benton City, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Hulda Tover of Cathlamet. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, and also by two brothers and a sister. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held March 14 at the cemetery in Cathlamet.
