Wahkiakum Eagle-July 1998 EDMONSON, Kenneth Raymond Age 56, lifelong area resident, died in a Cathlamet nursing home. He was born in Cathlamet, to Francis R. and Laura J. (Chase) Edmonson, and attended Wahkiakum schools. He worked at Weyerhaeuser Co., running a loader, for several years before buying a fishing boat and fishing the Columbia River commercially. He enjoyed clam digging and especially enjoyed visiting with friends and family. Survivors include two sisters, Rosalie Webb of Skamokawa and Janice Cothren of Naselle; two nieces, Lorie Smith of Naselle and Bettie Sorenson of Snohomish; a nephew, Lonnie Webb of Longview; an aunt; an uncle; two grandnieces; and a grandnephew. His parents preceded him in death. Graveside services were held Wednesday in Cathlamet with Rev. Joan Ham officiating.
