EASLEY, Jay Wallace

  Age 46, died at Cathlamet.  He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 
the son of Wallace E. and Frances Ann (Hays) Easley.  He graduated from 
Peach Tree High School in Atlanta, Georgia in 1977.  On July 4, 1989 he 
married Maria Moody in Juneau, Alaska.  She survives him at their
Cathlamet home.
  He moved to Cathlamet with his family in 2004.  He had been a 
mechanic technician in the auto repair field.  He was a talented 
craftsman and was skilled in all the building trades.  He also enjoyed 
cooking.
  Survivors include his wife at home; son, Clay at home; a half-
brother, David Kelley in Connecticut; brother-in-law Karl and wife Lisa 
Moody of Cathlamet; parents-in-law Philip and Donna Moody of Rosburg.
  Funeral services were held July 23 at Dowling Funeral Home.
