Columbia River Sun-Thursday April 12, 1917 Ducheney, Mary A. Mary A. Ducheney, wife of Louis A. Ducheney of Dahlia, aged 65 years, died at Warrenton, Oregon, Tuesday evening, April 10th. Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Mrs. V. V. Vincent of Vancouver, B. C., and Mrs. Nels Peterson of Skamokawa; also two sisters, Mrs. Geo. Prior of Nemah, Wn., and Mrs. Geo. Cashel of Knappa, Ore. The funeral will be held at Skamokawa. Mrs. Ducheney was a resident of this county for many years, having resided at Pillar Rock and also at Skamokawa, later accompanying her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Straus, to Warrenton. Mrs. Straus died several months ago and Mrs. Ducheney has been in charge of the children every since. She was of a loving and kind disposition and made friends where she went and will be missed by her many friends.
