Wahkiakum Co. Eagle-November 07, 1974 DOUMIT, Joseph Henry ‘Harry’ Age 66, died at home. He was born in Cathlamet and had lived here most of his life. He had helped construct the Ocean Beach highway and was a retired commercial fisherman and fish buyer. He was a member of the Columbia River Fishermens Association and the Longview Moose Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Marie, at home; two sons, J. Phillip of Cathlamet and Milton Henry of Chinook; a stepson, Lewis Rees of Los Angeles; three brothers, Mitchell, Eli and George, all of Cathlamet; five sisters, Rose Kiblan of St. Helens, Ore., Sally Bloomquist of Port Orchard, Marion Peterson of Portland, Leona Boyer of Cathlamet and Helen Marie Wampler of Fresno, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were held Saturday at the Julius A. Wendt Elementary school. Dowling Funeral Home of Cathlamet was in charge.
