Wahkiakum Eagle-March 1999 DIGGS, Jacqueline Mae 'Jackie' Age 53, died at Springfield, Ore., after six plus years of ovarian cancer. She was born at Vallejo, Calif., to Norman A. and Helen J. (Bowden) Todd. She was wed to Edward Diggs on January 25, 1969 in Springfield, Ore. She received her GED and a two-year degree for Key Punch Operator at Lane Community College, Eugene, Ore. She also received a Business Associates Degree from Trend Business College. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, hunting, fishing, pinochle, yard sales, cake decorating, reading and bowling. She was a Girl Scout Leader, belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She had been the leader , co-leader, secretary and treasurer of T.O.P.S., OR #47, Springfield, Or. She is survived by her husband, Edward, and son, Richard Luehring of Marcola, Ore.; three daughters, Sherri Finn and husband, Don of Canyonville, Ore., Laura Young and husband, Bill of Springfield, Ore. and Cindy Wilder and husband, Bill of Springfield, Ore.; a brother, Joe Todd of Salem, Ore.; two sisters, Betty Krause of Longview, and Barbara Boyce and husband, George of Cathlamet; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Memorial services were March 27 at Marcola Christian Church, Marcola, Ore.
