The Daily News-October 1991 CZARNECKI, ISADORE, Sr. "Ski" Age 82, of Cathlamet, died at St. John's Medical Center in Longview. He was born in Tamaroa, Ill., and spent his early years in the Centralia area. He had lived in Cathlamet since 1951. At age 16, he joined the Navy, where he served for 24 years, retiring as chief petty officer. He was Cathlamet water superintendent for 17 years, retiring in 1970. His memberships included the Longview Moose Lodge, Centralia Eagles, Military Fleet Reserves and the Elochoman Grange. He enjoyed gardening and working around his home. His wife, Dorothy, died in 1971. He was also preceded in death by a brother. Survivors include three sons, Isadore, Jr. of Dumfries, Va., Leslie of Longview and Thomas of Kelso; a daughter, Betty Huber of Cathlamet; three sisters, Jeannie Allen of Centralia, Marie Terra of Chicago and Frances LaBoche of Franklin Park, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Wednesday at Dowling Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bob Vahey officiating.
