Wahkiakum Eagle-August 1998 CREECH, Esther Ingred (Lindwall) Age 76, longtime Alaska resident, died at Providence Alaska Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Cathlamet, the daughter of Paul and Empi Lindwall and graduated from Wahkiakum High School in 1939. She moved to Alaska with her husband and two sons in 1957. Together they owned and operated Inlet Fuel Company of Anchorage and commercial fished the waters of Cook Inlet for many years. She was most recently employed as a bookkeeper for Stallones Men's Wear and retired in 1996. She was interested in gardening, sewing, cooking, her pets and civil issues. She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Creech. She is survived by her sons, William D. and Robert A. Creech, both of Anchorage; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Lindwall of Cathlamet; and her sister, Helen Seaberg of Puget Island. A celebration of her life will be held later by her family and friends.
