The Daily News-December 1975 CLAY, Earl A. Age 60, of Kelso, died in a Vancouver hospital. He was born in Saskatoon Lake, Alta., Canada, and came to this area 21 years ago from Grays River. He was a member of the Longview Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, IWA Local 536 and a veteran of WWII. Survivors include his wife, Laura G., at home; three daughters, Mrs. Bill Thompson of Prineville, Ore., Gloria Douglas and Mrs. Mitch Molt, both of Longview; three brothers, Elmer Clay of Clayhurst, B.C., Canada, Douglas Clay of Fort Nelson, B.C., David Godfrey of Bakersfield, Calif.; six sisters, Mrs. Harry Nordby of Dupree, S.D., Mrs. Arne Nordby of Valhalla, Alta., Canada, Mrs. Melvin Scott of Spokane, Mrs. Fred Catlin, Jr., of Sunnyside, Mrs. Ronald Bighill of Naselle, Mrs. Frank Blain of Grays River; and five grandsons. Funeral services were held Friday at McVicker’s Chapel on the Hill, Kelso, with Dale Rasmussen officiating. McVicker’s Chapel on the Hill was in charge.
