Wahkiakum Eagle-November 1976

CLARKSON, Walter J.
	
  Former Wahkiakum County Agent in the 1930's, died at his home in 
Ferndale.
  Funeral services were Nov. 6 with Rev. David Nelson, former minister 
of the Cathlamet Congregational church and now of Ferndale, 
officiating.
  Mr. and Mrs. Clarkson visited in Wahkiakum county in September when 
they greeted many friends.  Since their visit here, they had seen 
family members in North Dakota, Iowa and New York.  The also had been 
on a Mediterranean cruise in late October and had returned home the day 
before he died.
