Wahkiakum Co. Eagle-July 2003 CALIMAN, Harmony Jean Lea Ella Age 19, died at St. John Medical Center, Longview. She was born in Longview, to Hadley and Jan (Davis) Caliman. She worked hard to become a certified nurses assistant and was looking forward to becoming a nurse. She played the piano and enjoyed writing essays, three of which were published. She loved reading, animals and most of all, her baby girl, Sophia. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. Survivors include her daughter, Sophia Caroline Caliman-Salaz of Cathlamet; two brothers, Roger Caliman of Kansas City, Mo., and Pride Cannady of Issaquah; a sister, Lia Caliman Gallow of Los Angeles; her mother, Jan Caliman; her father and stepmother, Hadley and Linda Caliman of Poulsbo; grandparents, Olive Caliman of Los Angeles and Roger Davis; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service was held Thursday at J. A. Wendt Elementary School with the Rev. Irene Martin officiating. Dowling Funeral Home of Cathlamet, was in charge.
