The Daily News-February 1989 BUSSONE, Albert Age 78, of Long Beach, died in Long Beach. He was born in Keota, Mo., to Frank and Anna (Marquetti) Bussone. Keota is a small mining town. He received his schooling in Macon, Mo. He came to Washington in 1936 with the CCCorps out of Sparta, Ill. Later that year, he worked on the road being built to Chinook and also with Crown Zellerbach. In 1940, he married Eugenia "Jean" Irving. He joined the Navy in May 1944, serving as a coxswain on the captain's gig. After two years in the service, he returned to Cathlamet and went into the cleaning business. He later was appointed manager of the liquor store in Cathlamet and in 1964 transferred to Long Beach to manage the liquor store there. He was an avid baseball fan and for many years coached Pee-Wee, Little League and Babe Ruth teams in Cathlamet. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. He served as past master of the Masonic Lodge in Cathlamet and was a member of the Scottish Rite, Tacoma Affifi Shrine, BPOE 1937 of Long Beach and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his wife, Eugenia, in Long Beach; three daughters, Sue Ann Johnson of Portland, Sandra Rodal of Issaquah, Wash., and Mary Bussone of Longview; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Karen Bussone of Long Beach; a sister, Lucille Antler of Chicago; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
