Blankenship, Jody Lee
	
  Wahkiakum High School student died in a Longview hospital as the 
result of an automobile accident.
  He was born in Blairesville, Ga., and lived in this area most of his 
life.  He was active in football and track and was an avid hunter and 
fisherman.
  He is survived by his parents, Henry and Glenda Blankenship of 
Cathlamet; a sister, Karen Gibson; and three brothers, Jeremy 
Blankenship, Junior Gibson and Michael Gibson.  Also surviving are 
grandparents, Joe and Muriel Blankenship of Hayesville, N.C., and Jack 
and Edna Shook of Young Harris, Ga.
  Services were Tuesday at the Cathlamet Assembly of God Church with 
Rev. Gary Holde and Rev. Everett Groves officiating.
  Dowling Funeral Home was in charge.
