The Tribune, Ilwaco, WA.-November 20, 1974 Anna K. Bighill Mrs. Anna K. Bighill, 79, of Naselle, died Nov. 19, at home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, in the Naselle Community Congregational church, with Rev. Gerald Jones officiating. Committal will be in Peaceful Hill Cemetery under direction of Penttila’s Chapel by the Sea. Pallbearers will be Keith Larson, Royce Larson, Fred Harkness, Berwyn Nyberg, Greg Friddle and Steve Ullakko. Anna Wirkkanen was born May 6, 1895, in Taivalkoskella, Finland, and she came to the United States in 1903, making her first home in Minnesota. She came to Naselle in 1909, and on July 4, 1914, she was married to Charlie Bighill. Mr. Bighill died in May, 1959. She was a member of the Naselle Community Congregational Church and the Martha Circle. Survivors include two sons, Merven and Lester Bighill, Naselle; one daughter, Nancy Larson, Rosburg; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Nyberg, Ilwaco, Mrs. Lillian Stamos. Portland, Miss Sophia Wirkkanen, Portland; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bighill’s family suggested that those wishing to give memorials send them to the Naselle Community Congregational Church Memorial Fund, Naselle, Wa. 98638. Anna K.
