BAKER, Vernon Frank
	
  Age 66, a former local resident, died at home in Idaho City.  He was 
born in Silver Falls, Ore., and lived most of his life in Washington, 
including Longview and Cathlamet.  He moved to Idaho City in 1978.
  He was proud of his Quinault Indian heritage.
  He is survived by his wife, Tressa, at home; a daughter, name 
unavailable, of Long Beach; a stepson, Lowell Hamilton of Kelso; two 
grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and] nephews.
  A graveside service was held Saturday at Idaho City under the 
direction of Summers Funeral Home, Boise, Ida.
