Wahkiakum County Eagle-May 06, 1971 BAKER, Frank Lyle Age 55, of Puget Island, died in a Longview hospital. He was born in Turner, Ore., attended grade schools in Forest Grove, Grant High School in Portland, University of Oregon and the Sarbonne University in Paris. He had logged throughout this area, was in the lumber business in Portland for a number of years, and served as a voluntary probation officer for the Wahkiakum district justice court. He was a member of the St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Clatskanie. Survivors include the widow, Jean, at home; three sons, Paige and Mike of Portland, and Martin King at home; one daughter, Sally Baker of Portland; one brother, Howard Baker of Portland; one sister, Jane Baker of New York. Private committal services were held Friday at Portland. Rev. C. S. Sheldon officiated. Haakinson Funeral Home of Clatskanie were in charge.
