Stephanie Dawn (McNeil) Bair Stephanie Dawn (McNeil) Bair, 34, of Winlock, passed away October 14, 2004 in Kelso. She was born July 27, 1970, in San Diego, California, and moved to the Northwest in 1981. She attended St. Helens High School in 1984 & 1985, living there until 1996, when she moved to Nashville, Tennessee. She returned to the Northwest in 2001, living in Cathlamet and Winlock. Stephanie worked as a medical assistant and also was a part time pathology technician at the Cowlitz County Coroner's office and Multnomah County Medical Examiner's office. She also volunteered as an E.M.T. and firefighter in Cathlamet. She loved camping, fishing, and the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley (Siray) McNeil in 1996; her father, Stephen Gulley in 2004; and a daughter, Kayla Bair. Survivors include two daughters, Kristin Bair of Cathlamet and Jessica (Yeager) Martinez of St. Helens, Oregon; sister, Michele (Siray) Gravett of Kelso; brother, Jimmy McNeil of St. Helens, Oregon; grandson, Nathan Jose Martinez of St. Helens, Oregon; companion, Jeff Dorothy of Winlock; dearest friend, Glenn Gehrman of Cathlamet; niece, Ashley Gravett of Kelso and many loving friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2004 at the Gebert Chapel of Longview Community Church. Memorial contributions may be offered to Doernbecher Children's Hospital, 1121 SW Salmon Avenue, Portland, OR 97205. Columbia Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
