Wahkiakum County Eagle-Jul 1996 ANTILLA, Hazel Gerda Grays River pioneer, age 86, of Arlington, died at an Arlington area nursing facility. She had been living for the past year in Arlington to be near part of her family. She was born in Grays River and resided on the family homestead for most of her life. In 1990 she moved to the Pythian Home in Vancouver. She graduated from Astoria Business college then worked for Grays Riber Telephone company as a telephone operator for many years. While in Grays River she was a member of Vasa lodge, Grays River Grange and enjoyed attending Sunday services at Grays River United Methodist church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Richard and Mary Carol Antilla of Arlington; son Gerald of Vancouver; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband John died in 1955. Memorial service was Monday at Grays River Methodist Church. Arrangements were made by Weller Funeral Home, Arlington.
