Wahkiakum Co. Eagle-October 1997 Millard Truman Anderson Age 92, died at his Rosburg home. He was born at Kanawha, Iowa, the son of Andrew and Alice Berhow Anderson. He had lived at Rosburg for the past 30 years, retiring as port engineer of Mattaka, Alaska in 1968. He and his wife Sylvia had recently celebrated their 68 wedding anniversary. He was a member of the Naselle Congregational church and the Masonic Temple of Des Moines, Wa. Survivors include his wife at home; a daughter, Joyce Scoll of Anacortes; a son, Lloyd Anderson of Federal Way; five grandchildren, Catherine Wollford of Kirkland, Carolyn Miller of Puyallup, Rebecca Suryan of Lyywood, Marianne Dunn of Spokane and Shannon Archer of Redmond; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Monday at Cathlamet with Pastor Ken Hammer officiating. Dowling Funeral Home was in charge.
