The Daily News-February 1976 ANDERSON, Lillian Belle Age 87, of Longview, died in a local nursing home. She was born in Ellensburg, and had lived in Skamokawa for 30 years prior to moving to Longview in 1971. She was a member of the Skamokawa Methodist Church, Ladies Aid Society, and had been active in the WWI Veterans Auxiliary. Survivors include a son, James Ebert of Tacoma; a stepson, George Anderson of Hillsboro, Ore.; a daughter, Mary Frances Herndon of Longview; three grandchildren, James Herndon of Rose Valley, James Ebert of Dover, Del., and Joann Goodman of Gig Harbor; a stepgrandchild; eight great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Skamokawa Methodist Church with Rev. George Bales and the Rev. Everett Groves officiating. McVicker's Chapel on the Hill was in charge.
