Wahkiakum Co. Eagle-January 25, 1968 ANDERSON, Benjamin A. Age 83, of Portland, died Saturday in a Portland hospital. He was born in Red Wing, Minn. He was a resident of Cathlamet for 20 years and had lived in Portland for the past 23 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portland, Pentalpha Lodge No. 276 F. & A. M., Cathlamet, and was a retired warehouseman for Safeway stores. Survivors include the widow, Gladys E. at home; two sons, Carl M. of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Erwin M. of Hawthorn, Calif.; two daughters, Freida McNally of Cathlanet and Phylis Jacobson of Longview; one sister, Frances Knoph; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services were held at Caldwell’s Colonial Mortuary, Portland. Cremation was at Portland Memorial. Caldwell’s Colonial Mortuary was in charge.
