The Skamokawa Eagle-Thursday, September 14, 1933 Andrew Anderson 44, a Puget Island fisherman is believed to have been drowned when a steamer struck his boat late Monday night. Anderson is survived by his wife who lives on Puget Island. The Skamokawa Eagle-Thursday, September 21, 1933 The body of Andrew Anderson whose boat was run down by a freighter last week, was found off shore from Altoona Wednesday by William Whitten who brought the body to shore and notified county officials. Dewey Herndon picked up a diver net and parts of a boat belonging to Anderson. It is believed that the freighter Cascade was involved but there were no eye witness's. The steamer Cascade, was on it way out to sea. Wednesday, September 27 ??? The deceased is survived by his widow, who resides on Puget Island, two brothers and four sisters in Norway, and a brother in Alaska.
