The Columbia River Sun-February 2, 1911 Cathlamet, Wahkiakum County, Washington GEORGE ALEXANDER George Alexander, an aged man who has resided at the home of Mrs. J. J. Foster in the Elocoman valley for many years, died early Tuesday morning. The funeral occurred today. Mr. Alexander was on of the pioneer residents of this section, being 82 years of age. He had made his home at or near the Foster ranch for over 40 years. He was partially crippled in the arms and through the kindness of Mrs. J. J. Foster he had never wanted for a home or sustenance. The old gentlemen’s passing is in accord with nature, and his life illustrates the hospitality and human kindness that prevails at the Foster home. Mr. Alexander was a native of Missouri and unmarried. George O.
