SHAFER, Harriet Evelyn "Hattie"
     
    Age 89, died at a Puget Island foster care home.
    She was born in Bothell, the daughter of John and Elma Bailey     
and came to Puget Island about a year ago.
    A graduate of Bothell high school she attended Bellingham Normal     
school and retired from Kohler Plumbing Supply after a 30-year 
secretarial career.
