  Michael Howard Firth, 67, of Ramona, Calif. died on March 24, 2009. He was born on 
June 12, 1941, in San Diego, served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was employed by the 
Ramona Unified School District before retiring.  
  He was a life member of the VFW Post 3783 and the American Legion in Ramona. 
  He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Flo Firth; daughters Marlena Silva of Cathlamet 
and Megan Oliver of Chandler, Ariz.; son Michael Firth of Bixby, OK, five 
grandchildren with two on the way; two sisters, a brother, his in-laws and other extended 
family and friends.
