AMERICAN LEGION PRESENTS SCHOOL WITH VICTORY FLAG

 

McKinley Moe Post of American Legion has present to the Cathlamet school

a Victory Flag for their attainment of 90 per cent or over of their

pupils participating in purchase of War Savings Stamps and Bonds during

months of March and April.

 

The flag is white with a blue motif and flies below the stars and

stripes on the flag pole of the local school and will continue as the

high percentage is maintained.

 

Supt. Julius Wendt presented the flag on behalf of the Legion to the
