The gasoline launch Alvina, built in Astoria for John T. Nassa, of Cathlamet was 
launched Monday evening.  She is a beautiful little boat of nearly ten tons register, will 
be driven by a 19-horsepower Union gasoline engine.  She has been fitted up to carry 
passengers and is a very fast boat.
