SURNAMES W Everett Herald 8 September 1977 Cherry Wade, 86, of 9209 60 Dr. NE, Marysville, died Sept. 7 at home. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Schafer-Shipman Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial will follow at Marysville Cemetery Everett Daily Herald 1/21/1924 Charles E. Wells, 94 years old and a resident of Snohomish 24 years, died Sunday evening at 8 o'clock at his home on Warren street. Mr. Wells was born March 4 1829 at Baltimore, Md. In early life he went from there to Kansas and farmed for a long time. He removed to Snohomish in 1900 and followed the carpenter and cabinet maker trades. He is survived by Mrs. Wells, three sons George Wells local second hand store dealer and C.M. and B.H. Wells of Seattle, one daughter Mrs. F.D. Wisman of Snohomish and three grand children. Funeral services have been set for Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Bakeman's chapel. The Rev. F. L. Delong of the Free Methodist church will officiate and interment will be in G.A.R. cemetery. Snohomish G.A.R. Hearing groans, a call was sent in for an ambulance, but the man was dead before the conveyance arrived. John WIENKER leaves a widow, a daughter and a son in Everett. A day or so ago he left Providence hospital, where he had been receiving treatment; but his physician has heard nothing from him since the patient moved down town. Everett Daily Herald 11/12/1914 Charles Wilson died this morning at his late home, 1627 Rucker avenue, having been sick but a few days. Mr. Wilson was 78 years of age, and leaves a widow, one son, J.C. Wilson of Denver, and a daughter, Mrs. D.A. Thornburg, of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson had returned a few days ago from a several weeks' visit at their old home in Iowa, returning via Denver to visit their son. There Mr. Wilson contracted a cold, that later developed into pneumonia. He was a member of the John Buford post of the G.A.R. having enlisted September 20, 1851, in Company A, Eleventh regiment, of Iowa. He re-enlisted again at Vicksburg, February 4, 1864, and was wounded at the battle of Atlanta, receiving his discharge April 25, 1865, Mr. Wilson was also a member of the A.O.U.W. H. WILSON, aged 75, who died at his place of residence in the American house Oct. 1, will be buried from Jerread's Monday afternoon at 2:30 p. m. Everett Daily Herald October 5, 1910 Miss Zelma WINEGARD, the beautiful daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William WINEGARD, died at the family residence yesterday from tuberculosis. She was a graduate of the Snohomish high school and was one of the brightest pupils ever graduated from the Snohomish schools. After finishing school she took up teaching but was compelled to give it up on account of poor health. Hope for her recovery was abandoned some months ago. The funeral services will be held at the family residence, Avenue C at 1:30 p. m. Thursday. Everett Herald 8 September 1977 Lillian Winklesky, 71, of Marysville, died Sept. 7 in a local hospital. Arrangements will be announced later by the Solle Funeral Home. Everett Daily Herald 1-9-1911 Mrs. Rachel WOLFLEY, aged 75 years, died at 12:30 this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. N.E. Butts, 3611 Hoyt ave., after an illness of three and one-half years. Mrs. Wolfley came to Everett four years ago from Kansas, where a son, Perry, still resides. She was a member of the M.E. church.
