Everett Herald 8 June 1927 MRS. F. PENDLETON DIES HERE TUESDAY Mrs. Frank PENDLETON, 64 years old, pioneer resident of Everett, died early Tuesday evening at the family home, 3802 Grand avenue, following two days illness. Mrs. PENDLETON is survived by her husband, Frank PENDLETON, prominent Everett and British Columbia lumberman; five sons, Crosby, at home; Ross of Port Albernie, B.C.; Wayne of Red Gap, B.C.; and Brooks and Francis of New Westminster, B.C.; and two daughters, Mrs. Verna HOLMQUIST and Mrs. Norma ENGLISH of Everet. Crosby PENDLETON, the youngest son, is returning home from Chicago where he participated in the national high school track meet last week. The body of Mrs. PENDLETON is at the mortuary of Challacombe and Fickel from where private services will be announced later. Everett Herald 3 Sep 1977 Jose R. PEREZ, Jr., 31, of Everett, died August 29. Rosary Friday, 7 p.m. in Schoefer-Shipman Funeral Home, Marysville. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial to follow in Marysville Catholic Cemetery. Everett Daily Herald 11-29-1924 Samuel Pollock, age 36,years died Friday morning at Providence hospital. He suffered steam burns at a Snohomish mill several days ago. The body was taken Thursday by Challacombe & Fickel to the University Undertaking parlors at Seattle, where funeral services will take place. Everett Daily Herald 10/8/1927 Mrs. Mary Pollow, 62, wife of the late Chrles Pollow, died Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. William Dilley, after an illness of eight years. Mrs. Pollow had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Dilley for the past four years. She was born in Fairport, Iowa, May 16, 1865,. With her husband and two sons she came to Arlington from Bloomington, IL in 1908. Both of her sons and husband are deceased. Mrs Pollow is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Dilley of Arlington, Mrs. Anna Russ of Spokane, and Mrs. Louisa Schmidt of Minn, and two brothers Adam and Christian Krouse of Iowa, and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from Molls funeral home. Burial will be in the Arlington cemetery. Arlington Times 7/26/1896 A coroner's inquest and autopsy was held over the remains of Mrs. Lettie Powers, who died the day before under suspicious circumstances. A.W. Frater was present to represent the prosecuting attorney's office, and Dr. Stafford of Snohomish, made the examination. Although the jury failed to agree and hence rendered no verdict, the testimony of the physicians and the other evidence introduced showed that death resulted from an abortion. Four of the jurymen were of this opinion. The coroner's verdict is to this effect.
