Everett Daily Herald 3-12-1906 William Gainer, aged 72 years died last night at his home Ave. F from paralysis from which he has been suffering for two years. Mr. Gains was a native of Ontario and was the father of a large family of children, most of whom are prominent citizens of Snohomish. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family residence. W. GOLDTHORP was brought to Everett today and the funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon from Jerread's chapel to Evergreen cemetery. Everett Herald 1 September 1977 Harry A. Grissom, 74, of Everett, died Sept. 1 in a Seattle hospital. He was born Feb. 8, 1903 in Breckinridge, MO. He leaves his wife, Nettie A. Grissom of the home; daughter, Patricia Burgess and son-in-law Jerry Burgess of Fairbanks, Alaska; two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael, in 1971. At his request, no services were held. Arrangments under the direction of the Solie Funeral Home. Everett Daily Herald 10-2-1980 Julia Irene Gustafson, 75, Lake Stevens died October 1, 1980 in a local hospital. She was born June 9, 1905 in Gov Michigan and had lived in Lake Stevens all her life. She attended Lake Stevens Grade School. She was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church of Lake Stevens. Surviving are daughters and son in laws; Mr. & Mrs. Richard (Mabel) Holm of Lake Stevens, Mr. & Mrs. Jerry (Patricia) Freerks of Snohomish; grandchildren, Tammi Aronica of Everett, Jerry, Shelley and Teresa McIntosh all of Snohomish; sisters; Helga Lund of Everett, Martha Anderson of Snohomish, Amanda Coty of Snohomish, Tekla Carrigan and Ina Fetsch of Aberdeen; numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband, Elias Gustafson preceded her in death in 1958. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the Ebenezer Lutheran Church Lake Stevens. The Rev. Richard Edmonds will officiate. Interment will be in Machias cemetery. Active and Honorary casketbearers will be nephews; Ed Granfors, Lawrence Erickson, Robert Lund, William Lund, Bill Anderson, Tom Forsman, Larry Forsman, Mike Forsman, Jeff Forsman, Byron Forsman, Charles Forsman, Jim Anderson, Bob Anderson, Danny Anderson, Dick Anderson, and Evan Anderson. Memorials may be made to the Ebenezer Lutheran Church or Lake Stevens Fire Dept. Aid Car Unit. Viewing will be until 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Everett Daily Herald 13 September 1902 Three Loggers, Employed in Three Different Camps, Victims of Accidents Almost Identical Victor Erickson, while working for Healey & Cobb, loading logs on the cars about 5 p.m. yesterday, was hit by a swinging log, and fatally wounded. He died an hour later. This morning, a man named GUSTAVSEN, working at Stimson's logging camp No. 2, was caught by a sliding log that broke five ribs and his back. He will die. Another man named Homer Cole was hurt at Stimson's camp No. 4 yesterday in the same way, and died at the Everett hospital last night.
