I am looking for information regarding my great great grandfather Andrew Jackson THOMPSON. We have death date of 28 Dec 1890 from a handwritten record, info that indicates that he died in Egypt, but have nothing more, unable to get a death cert due to fires in that area with record being lost. His wife, Laura Estella THOMPSON, a death date of 3 Apr 1899 possibly died in Davenport. Any info would be greatly appreciated; if we could get an obit and their place of burial it would help so much.

My grandfather was Harry J. NEELY who came to Spokane immediately after the fire. He was soon in Wilbur, printing and then owning/editing the paper periodically during the 1890s. His wife was Grace SMITH, daughter of Thomas Morgan and Amy Jane (THOMPSON) SMITH, who he married in Mondovi on Thanksgiving of 1889. I'm interested in any information on this family and on possible copies of the Wilbur Register newspaper. I understand it is thought that none exist in institutional hands. I have family information and photographs of the NEELY family after they moved to Spokane. Their three daughters were all born in Wilbur: Amy Jane NEELY in 1890, Marguerite Mildred in c. 1893 and Suella Phillipa in 1899. I'm happy to share anything I know.
