“Lonnie Clinton Tarter born Sept 1893 passed away Oct 15, 1966 at the
Deaconess hospital in Wenatchee. He married Lula Adams December 24, 1912 in
Spokane, WA. He is survived by his wife, Lula, at the home. Three sons, Ernest
and John of Spokane, James, Seattle. Three
daughters, Anne Lassiter, Kirkland, Alma Jensen, Tacoma and Iva Kulla, Seattle.
Three sisters, Mrs P C Neal, Mrs Fred Vance of Wenatchee and Maude Zetty of
Spokane, 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Two aunts, Becky Johnson,
Deer Park and Lillie Epperly, Tacoma. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was a past
member of Blind Springs Grange. He was retired from Grant County highway
department. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God
church. Rev Robert Mayfield officiated. Pall bearers were Vernon Haase, Earl
Dormaier, George Dormaier, Russell Higginbotham. Mr and Mrs Bob Sieg sang
accompanied by Ralph Sieg. Robertsons of Wilbur were in charge of the
