“Miss Ella M Nipp, aged 20, daughter of Mr & Mrs William Nipp of Coulee City, died in this city Sunday of tuberculosis following a severe attack of pneumonia contracted about one year ago. The young lady was brought to Davenport by her parents to receive treatment, but her condition was beyond relief. The remains were shipped to Hartline for burial Monday afternoon.” (D Tribune: 11-02-1911)
