Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Oct 24, 1974, at 2 p.m., Hartline, Cemetery, Hartline, WA, Rev Roger C Stimson officiating.  Visitations will be from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m., Oct 24, Hartline Methodist Church. Survived by his wife, Dora E Higginbotham; one son, John M Higginbotham at the home; 2 daughters, Mrs Larry (Debby) Sinnott, Spokane; Sandra Higginbotham at the home; his mother, Mrs Clara Higginbotham, Hartline; 2 brothers, Chester E Higginbotham, Wilbur, and Calvin J Higginbotham, Hartline; 4 sisters, Mrs Lloyt (Leona) Gibson, Aberdeen, WA; Mrs Frank (Eleanor) Clark, and Mrs  Ben (Mary Elizabeth) Webb, both of Seattle; and Mrs Velma Sonnickson, Auburn, WA; numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Hartline United Methodist Church, Almira Lodge 127, AF & AM, Evening Star Chapter 108, OES, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, Wenatchee, El Katif Shrine, Grand Coulee Dam Shrine Club, Washington State and Grant County Wheat Growers Associations, Highland Grange, VFW and a member of the Hartline Town Council. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 22 at 11 a.m. from the Hartline United Methodist Church, the Rev James N Updike officiating. She formerly lived at Ruff. Her survivors are her widower, Fred Hoff; three daughters, Mrs Clive Egbert, Mrs Henry Schell and Mrs Chester Higginbotham.
