Vesta Tebbs was born and raised in Goldendale Washington. She graduated from Goldendale High School as a valedictorian of her class.

Vesta was the county auditor for over 30 years for Goldendale. She never married, but was a very caring person, to her family, and the community.   She lived in her two bedroom house which is located on "C" street. She also loved going to her brother Abe Tebbs's farm during the summers and spending time with her neices and nephews.
