Lucinda Jane [Kistner] Parshall
"Lucinda Jane Parshall died in this city Wednesday, Oct. 3, and was
buried Thursday in Tacoma cemetery, Rev. J.H. Wood officiating. The deceased was born in Peoria, Ill., May 18, 1840.
She crossed the plains with her parents in 1853, and settled in California. She was married to Chester Parshall in 1856,
about which time she united with the M.E. church and was a faithful member unto the day of her death.
Mrs. Parshall was the mother of 10 children, seven of whom are living: Mrs. C.C. Shearer, of Lewiston, Idaho; Mrs. J. C. Varker,
of this city; Mrs. Warner and Mrs. Berry of Goldendale, L.F. Wilbert and Asa Parshall. -- Yakima."
