Agnes Ernestine Knight
"Agnes Ernestine Knight was born in Pomeroy, Wash, on June 9, 1903 to Baxter Frank and Ella C. Houk and passed away in Goldendale on April 17, 1986.
She attended school in Pomeroy and had worked as a telephone operator.
On August 5, 1929, she was married to Lloyd Knight in Moscow, Id. Her husband worked for the Washington State Highway Department for many years, so they lived in Pomeroy, Clarkston,
Ellensburg, Yakima and Wenatchee. They moved to Goldendale in 1946.
She was a member of the Christian Church and Rebekah Lodge of Pomeroy, and was also a former member of the Eagles Auxiliary. Her hobbies were fancy work and music.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1978. She is survived by a niece, Ida Mae Krier of Couer d'Alene, Id.; a cousin, John Jackson of Richland; and brother-in-law
and sister-in-law John and Neva Miranda of Clarkston, Wash.
Funeral services were held April 19 at the Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home in Goldendale, with the Rev. Arthur J. Stott officiating. Interment was in the Pomeroy City Cemetery April 21
with the Rev. Howard Neal officiating."
