Obituary
"George Martin Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Baker was born August 19, 1885, in Ellensburg, Washington, and departed this life January 24, 1942.
His death was attributed to a heart attack.
In 1889 he came to Goldendale with his parents where he has spent most of his life.
He attended the Goldendale schools and was a graduate of Klickitat Academy.
On September 2, 1915, he was united in marriage to Miss Vearl Crooks, who now survives him.
Besides his wife, Mrs. George M. Baker, he leaves behind two sisters, Mrs. Grant Dyer, of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. E.C. Allison, Sr., of Goldendale.
Interment was in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Raymond I. Gibbs, pastor of the Church of Christ, conducted the services."
