He served in the 27th Company, 7th Battalion 166 Depot Brigade during WWI from December 13, 1917 to January 11, 1919. Arie married Neva Haupert in Yakima on September 24, 1926. Together they had three children: Edward, Neil Arie and Barbara Jean. Arie passed away on October 26, 1944 in Goldendale following a hunting trip.

She immigrated to the United States about 1889. Hester was married to Catharinus "C.C." Van Aelst about 1890. They moved their family to Goldendale in 1908. Hester passed away on May 7, 1932 in Goldendale.

Van De Vanter was born on August 29, 1900 to Mary [Tucker] and Don Van De Vanter in Union, Oregon. Darrell (known to friends and family as "Van,") came to Goldendale in 1920. He married Freeda Bruner on July 3, 1930 and they had two daughters, Mary Ann and Barbara Jean. Darrell was a civic leader in Goldendale and a popular businessman. He died suddenly on November 20, 1948 when he suffered a massive heart attack at his family home. Darrell is buried on 2nd Street, Lot 23.

Obit Link Francis Eugene Van Voltenburg was born July 4, 1900 in Oklahoma. He married Ruby [Wilson] on January 20, 1928 in Klickitat County. Ruby sustained critical burns a few months after their marriage trying to light a stove in a loggers' shack, which almost cost Ruby her life. Ironically Frank was killed just four years later on May 14, 1932 when a gasoline stove exploded. Frank died in The Dalles, Oregon. (Their son Bill is also buried in this cemetery.)

Vincent in Goldendale on September 16, 1912 in her father's church. Blythe passed away at the age of 72 in Des Moines, Iowa on July 28, 1965. She was buried on top her father-in-law Frank's grave in Block Section 030 Lot 5.

Eventually, Vincent and his sons were able to procure and develop a large ranch in Klickitat County.

Gravestone   Obituary   Hubert Vincent was born July 22, 1890 to Sybil [Coley] and Frank Vincent. On his WWI Draft Registration, Hubert wrote that he was born in Dot, Washington. By the time he filled out the WWI Draft Registration, he specified Goldendale as his birthplace. Vincent married Blythe [DeWeese], the daughter of the Methodist minister in Goldendale on September 16, 1912. He later became a minister himself in the Methodist Episcopal Church. He passed away December 15, 1965 in King County, Washington.
