Darwin Green Olds was born in Hanover County, Ohio on October 27, 1824 to Temperance [Parker] and Martin Olds. He married Evaline N. [Eaton] in Coldwater, Michigan on April 2, 1849.   The Olds family moved to Oregon in 1852, crossing the plains. They moved to Klickitat County in 1899.   He was a blacksmith by trade.   Darwin died on October 4, 1905 at the age of 80 of paralysis of the heart. He is buried in Block Section 040 Lot 2.

Obituary   Obit Link   Evaline N. [Eaton] Olds was born in Bennington, Vermont on June 6, 1826. Her father's name was John Eaton.   She married Darwin Green Olds on April 2, 1849 in Coldwater, Michigan. The Olds family crossed the plains and moved to Oregon in 1852, and then settled in Klickitat County in 1899.   Evaline died on February 19, 1901 in Goldendale at the home of her daughter Rosa Brooks of LaGrippe.   She is buried in lock Section 040 Lot 2.

He married Nellie [Higdon] on December 24, 1902 in Vancouver, WA. The Olsen family had six children, and they settled in Klickitat County in 1919. Ernest was co-owner owner of the Nickerson-Olsen Motor Co. Ernest passed away on September 13, 1928, after stopping at the home of Fred Esteb (a mile south of Centerville) when he became ill.  He is buried in Plot: Block Section 045 Lot 6

They had several children, amongst them: Wilbur, Anna, Rose, Mary and John.   The Ostrander family moved to Klickitat County in 1878.   Mary passed away at home in Goldendale on July 5, 1912 at the age of 81.
