Darwin Green Olds was born in Hanover County, Ohio on October 27, 1824 to Temperance [Parker] and Martin Olds. He married Evaline N. [Eaton] in Coldwater, Michigan
on April 2, 1849. The Olds family moved to Oregon in 1852, crossing the plains. They moved to Klickitat County in 1899. He was a blacksmith by trade. Darwin died on October 4, 1905

Evaline N. [Eaton] Olds was born in Bennington, Vermont on June 6, 1826. Her father's name was John Eaton. She married Darwin Green Olds on April 2, 1849 in Coldwater, Michigan. The Olds family crossed
the plains and moved to Oregon in 1852, and then settled in Klickitat County in 1899. Evaline died on February 19, 1901 in Goldendale at the home of her daughter Rosa Brooks of LaGrippe.

Mary Caroline [Hull] Ostrander was born on January 1, 1831 in Illinois. Orphaned at the age of 5, she had a lifelong interest in caring for orphans. She crossed the plains in 1853 to Oregon.
Mary was united in marriage to the Rev. John Ostrander in 1857 (most likely in Oregon). They had several children, amongst them:
