They spent much of the rest of their lives working among the American Indians. Margaret died of a stroke about 1899. Samuel passed away October 7, 1903. He is buried in Plot: Block Section 004 Lot 1. She was the second child of Samuel and Margaret Wylie, who were missionaries to "Ningpo, China from 1850-1858" (page 188). Later in her adulthood, Susan was a school teacher. She died at the age of 48 on December 3, 1899 in Klickitat County. He married his second wife Edith May Anderson in Goldendale in 1911. Their children included David and Donna. David trained as a butcher with his father, in a drug store, and then the miller's trade.
He worked in real estate and property appraiser, and served as a Port Angeles city commissioner. David passed away on January 16, 1956 in Santa Barbara, California. Lucille "Ernestine" Miller was born July 17, 1914 in Klickitat County to Ellen Celia [Hastings] and Otis Augustus Miller. She graduated from Central Washington college and became a primary school teacher
at Lyle, Washington. On Thanksgiving 1938, the engagement of Ernestine to Neal Watson of Spokane was announced. Ernestine became the unhappy recipient of the affections and subsequent stalking of an acquaintance,
Robert Kiener, who eventually, chased her and her mother down in a car and murdered Ernestine in front of her mother on Hwy 97. 19 miles from Goldendale on November 28, 1937. Ernestine was just 24 years old.

Olen Cecil Monroe was born on July 1, 1931/2 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jewel and John D. Monroe. He served in the US Army from August 21, 1950 to August 6, 1954.
Olen had a varied career, much of it in telephone and communications. He relocated to the Pacific Northwest in 1964. Olen was instrumental in organizing senior transportation
in Klickitat county. He served as director of the Klickitat County Senior Services. Olen passed away on April 12, 1985 in Washington state. His son Ronnie preceded him in death.
He was survived by a son Danny Monroe. Olen is buried in Plot: Block Section Lot 22.00 Space 5.
